We have been building in Bethesda, Kensington, Montgomery County, and Washington, DC: custom homes, teardown rebuilds, additions, and whole-home remodels for clients, plus 5 to 10 new homes a year that we design, build, and sell on our own lots.
Selling homes at market keeps us honest about land values, floor plans, and construction costs. Your project gets the same judgment.
On a client project, design comes first under its own agreement, and the construction contract follows once the design and allowances are settled, with the budget in writing before work begins; the details are on our design-build page.

Kevin runs every job himself: the lot walk, the bid set, the schedule, and the punch list. One client wrote it was "not unusual to see Kevin personally working around the house putting in those final touches." When the president of AEGIS Construction Consultants hired us to build his own Kensington home, he put his own inspectors on the project and reported no shortcuts.

Our subcontractors are long-standing partners, each a specialist who guides your selections in their own category: cabinets with the cabinetmaker, tile with the tile setter. Carpentry and paint stay in-house, on our own crews, so finish quality and the schedule stay under our control.
